Future Talent & Employer Branding Specialist
I’ve been working in the talent arena for over 10 years but my motivations grew towards the Early Careers industry after working in the University field to design and develop employability and employer engagement strategies. Later I became Future Talent Client Partner at Hodes, creating talent attraction strategies for a range of clients before joining RBS as Head of Marketing for Early Careers.
I have a huge interest in the psychology behind what our industry does; how we engage with candidates, understand their decision-making and appreciate key influences. The work I do really feeds that curiosity.
As a passionate advocate for diversity talent programmes, I supported the creation of an undergraduate female personal development programme, ‘Sprint’, in partnership with Oxford University and The Springboard Consultancy building it’s reach across the UK. 5 years on, I continue to be the lead trainer for the programme at Cambridge University and, most recently, achieved a licence to deliver a similar programme, ‘Boost’, for people who are in their first 2 years of careers. It keeps me close to the target audience and on my toes too!
Having recently left RBS in July, I’m now using the experience I’ve gained from my university, marketing agency and employer environments as a freelance consultant. From employer brand projects to attraction strategies to mentoring some of the brilliant talent in our industry, my inquisitive and creative nature comes into its own.
